USA has been accusing India of it’s role in the attempt to murder plot of Khalistani separatist Gurpatwant Singh pannu but Russia has supported India and said the US was yet to provide "reliable evidence" of any Indian involvement in that attempt and any speculation on this topic in the absence of evidence is unacceptable.

A US commission, US Commission on International Religious Freedom (USCIRF) has criticised India for alleged violations of religious freedom but Russia has supported India here too.

Russia has said that the US lacked understanding of India's national mentality and history. It says USA continues to make 'unfounded accusations' about religious freedoms which is disrespectful to India.
 

Russia accused USA and said that USA has been accusing India to unbalance the internal political situation in India and complicate the general elections which is USA’s interference in India's internal affairs.

USA has been accusing India for many unproven issues since the beginning of 2024 due to India’s proximity towards Russia and India’s purchase of Russian oil despite heavy USA objections. But Russia is India’s old friend whose friendship is very valuable and would stay valuable.

India's import bill have declined considerably in the past due to cheap Russian oil and Indian defence also gets a major boost due to support from Russia.
