KEY POINTS FROM THE ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING

  2. RIL made a record contribution of ₹2.10 lakh crore  to the national exchequer; cumulative tax contributions over six years crossed ₹10 lakh crore.
  3. Jio’s Growth & IPO Timeline : Reliance Jio has surpassed 500 million customers, a major milestone ahead of its 10th anniversary. The much-awaited IPO of Reliance Jio is targeted for the first half of 2026, with preparations underway.
  4. AI & Reliance Intelligence: RIL launched a new wholly owned subsidiary, Reliance Intelligence, dedicated to scaling up its AI-driven strategy and transforming into a deep-tech enterprise. Mukesh Ambani described AI as the new “Kamdhenu (divine wish-granting cow)” of their growth strategy, emphasizing its potential to reshape global GDP.
  5. Reliance deepened strategic partnerships with global tech giants Google and Meta, including a joint venture with Meta to bring open-source AI to Indian industries and an AI-focused joint infrastructure region with Google.
  6. Digital Innovations & Consumer Tech Launches : Several new products and services were unveiled:
    1. JioPC – cloud-powered virtual PC that transforms any screen into a computer.
    2. JioFrames – AI-powered wearable with multi-language voice assistance.
    3. Jio AI Cloud and AI Create Hub for photo/video creation.
    4. Voice Print – AI-based dubbing with lip-sync.
    5. RIYA – AI voice search assistant for JioStar.
  7. Jio AirFiber emerged as the world’s largest fixed wireless provider, adding over 1 million homes per month.
  8. Retail Expansion & Consumer Products : Reliance Retail's gross revenue hit ₹3.31 lakh crore, with EBITDA up 8.6% to ₹25,094 crore.
  9. The Consumer Products (RCPL) division became a direct subsidiary and achieved a turnover of ₹11,500 crore (~USD 1.4 billion) in its first year—making it the fastest-growing FMCG company emerging from a launch.
  10. Online sales are expected to grow significantly, rising from high single-digit contributions to over 20% in three years.
  11. The Jam­nan­gar Dhirubhai Ambani Giga Energy Complex is under construction, with 44 million sq ft area — four times Tesla’s Gigafactory. Supporting infrastructure includes 5 million manhours, 3.4 million m³ concrete, 700,000 tonnes of steel, and 100,000 km of cabling.
  12. In Kutch, Gujarat, RIL is building one of the world’s largest single-site solar projects covering 550,000 acres—triple the size of Singapore—with peak deployment of 55 MW solar and 150 MWh battery capacity daily.
  13. Plans include scaling new fuel infrastructure (biofuels, hydrogen), expanding EV and Jio-BP networks, and delivering circular economy innovations like plastic pyrolysis and clean fuel adoption.
  14. Broader Vision & Economic Outlook : Mukesh Ambani reiterated his vision of an “India-first” development model, emphasizing that India’s growth remains unstoppable despite global uncertainties. He expressed a bold outlook: India could achieve 10% annual GDP growth, with per capita income rising 4–5 times over the next two decades.
